Art Deco hunting service, 22 pieces in ceramic.

Elegant and rare hunting service from the 1930s, in pure Art Deco style. Comprising 22 white glazed ceramic plates, each piece is hand-decorated with a different animal, featuring a silver rim. Animal decorations, lettering, and fine detailing done in silver leaf. Unique decorations commissioned at the time by the owner of a hunting lodge named "La Grange." Stamp on the back with the initials + letters GO. Composition: • 9 small flat plates (Ø 21 cm) – pheasant, partridge, squirrel, deer (x2), hare, wild boar, rabbits (x2) • 5 large flat plates (Ø 23.5 cm) – squirrel, woodcock, pheasant, hare, partridge. • 8 deep plates (Ø 21 cm) – partridge (x3), wild boar, pheasant, flying pheasant, deer, hare. In very good overall condition: no chips, no cracks. Excellent quality ceramic, careful decoration, intact silvering. A refined, decorative, and rare service.
