Suite of 6 superb cactus model flat plates created by hilton mc connico for daum. In white and green porcelain of polychrome enamelled limoges and gilded with fine gold. Signature hmc on the back. Excellent condition. The cactus collection was donated by the president as a state gift during an official visit. Hilton mc connico is the 1st american designer whose pieces have joined the permanent collection of the national museum of decorative arts. 1980.
