Danish vintage pendant lamp Nova by Jo Hammerborg, Fog og Morup, 1963

Brass lamp consisting of four shades. The outer lenses are tinted yellow to ensure warm light reflection. The small lampshade that hides the bulb holder has a dark gray coating to soften the light downwards. When lit, the lamp is soft and does not glare downwards, making it ideal for low-hanging, and the glossy surface captures and reflects the contours of the surrounding space. One of the few themes that ran through jo hammerborg's work at fog & mørup in the 1960s was that lamps were often manufactured from three different metals - copper, brass, and aluminum. The lamp is in very good condition, has natural signs of use in the form of patina, small scratches and bruises. Dimensions: diameter: 41cm. Height: 18cm. The lamp has been thoroughly cleaned, it has a new approx. 2-meter cable. The cable can be changed to any length and color. Additionally, a canopy is attached to the lamp.
