Antique triptych barber mirror dating from the late 19th to early 20th century, Art Nouveau period. It consists of three articulated panels in a patinated nickel-plated brass structure. The printed paper on the back depicts a village scene or a lively harbour landscape. Warm tone patinated by time. The backs of the three panels are entirely covered with this decor, providing a uniform appearance, even when the mirror is closed. Each panel incorporates an antique mirror whose backing shows pitting and marked oxidation, attesting to its authenticity and the passage of time. The paper has some tears (see photos). The finely moulded metal frames are connected by hinges allowing for smooth opening. A suspension chain fixed at the top allows for easy hanging, whether open or closed. When open, the mirror also stands in position thanks to its panels. Decor Tip: hang two triptych mirrors one below the other (see photos). The second triptych mirror shown in the photos is also available in the shop. Dimensions: open: w.42 cm; closed: w.20.5 cm / H.15 cm and H.20.5 cm with chain.
