Zebrano wood is characterized by stripes that evoke zebra skin. In the 20th century, the largest source of zebrano wood came from microberlinia, a tree native to central africa (gabon, cameroon, congo). The heart of the wood is a golden yellow color with narrow streaks, ranging from dark brown to black. Wood veneer is a technique obtained by unrolling the wood of a trunk in order to obtain a sheet of real wood that will then be cut to the desired dimensions.
