Vallauris Cup SAP Vallauris

Exquisite bowl stamped S.A.P Vallauris, a testament to French craftsmanship. Produced under the label of the Syndicat des Artisans Potiers (SAP), it reflects the excellence and creativity of Vallauris in the 1950s and 60s, a period when the town established itself as the capital of contemporary ceramics. Its slipware decoration of foliage, in warm and nuanced autumnal hues, captures the light and poetry of the season. The contrast between the dense clay and the delicate relief of the leaves makes it a piece that is both sculptural and functional. In very good condition, it has some minor, discreet losses on the lower rim, invisible when displayed and without impacting its use or aesthetic appeal. Height: 7 cm Width: 32 cm Depth: 33 cm Weight: substantial, reinforcing the feeling of quality and sturdiness.
