Classic Danish vintage scissor armchair by Arne Hovmand Olsen in OAK, 1960

Scandinavian vintage armchair attributed to the Dane Arne Hovmand Olsen and Komfort, 1960s. The scissor armchair has a frame of European oak and red fabric upholstery. The wishbone-shaped frame is beautifully accentuated by the large brass screw. The same detail is found on the backrest. Classic modern and timeless. Condition: good to very good vintage condition. The wool upholstery is as good as new. The frame has light signs of use, but should not really be called a name. The armchair is sturdy and stable, no play in the frame.
