Vintage LC1 armchair Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret, Charlotte Perriand for Cassina, 1960

The lc1 armchair was designed in 1929 by the famous trio le corbusier, pierre jeanneret and charlotte perriand. Cassina bought the rights and started production in the 1960s. This chair bears the number 2724 and therefore dates from the early/mid-1960s. The chrome tube structure is in very good condition. The seat and backrest in cowhide or pony are original, also in good condition. Some hair loss at the seat, see photos. The armrests have been replaced (black leather crust as originally). Seat height +/- 38cm.
