Bring a romantic and authentic touch to your interior with this vintage wrought iron daybed. This stunning antique wrought iron daybed seems to have come from a manor house or a winter garden of the Belle Époque. Its spectacular decor of intertwined scrolls, entirely crafted in metal, reveals the refinement of decorative furniture from the late 19th century (between 1890 and 1900). Painted in an elegant white enhanced with copper details at the ends, it has an airy and poetic presence. The generous curves and the central heart-shaped motif give it a romantic look typical of productions inspired by the Napoléon III style and the French and English ironwork workshops of the time. One can imagine this piece in a sunlit conservatory, adorned with cushions made of vintage linen and lace throws, serving alternately as a guest bed, a chaise longue, or a reading bench. The play of shadows created by the scrolls on the floor recalls the artisanal delicacy of the ironworkers of the late 19th century. Today, this daybed brings spectacular charm to a country house, a bohemian chic interior, or contemporary romantic decor. It could equally enhance the display of a home textiles shop, for example... In very good antique condition with a patina and signs of age consistent with its years. The daybed has been sandblasted and thermolacquered (it will not move, even outdoors).
