Dining table Fratelli Rigamonti Desio, Milan

COD 11354. Superb Italian dining table from the mid-20th century. Beautifully designed and elegantly furnished, made by Fratelli Rigamonti Desio, Milan. Excellent size, quality, and functionality, the table features the original top with an inlaid marbled glass, marked Rimadesio Vetreria Riboldi Malberti, dated 1961. The mahogany base rests on four legs with zoomorphic brass decorations, and the central column is veneered with rosewood and adorned with brass ornaments. This table can comfortably seat eight people, making it ideal for antique collectors and interior decorators; it is very functional and visually striking. The piece is structurally sound and solid, but the marbled glass top has a few small water stains in one corner (see photo). Overall, the table is in good condition.
