Turkish double sided Rug vegetable dye 175x132cm

Traditional turkish rug circa 1940's. 175x132cm. This is a turkish kula carpet, painstakingly hand knotted on wool foundations with 100% pure vegetable dyed wool. These are made in south western turkey on the mountains near mugla. It is a rare boutique rug thats made as a double sided rug, reverse is almost felted, presumably made to add warmth to the rug whilst on the floor. ] Cleaned and ready to go. Excellent condition with minimal wear for its age.
