Mallet desk

This clever compact secretary desk, also known as the Magic Box, was designed by Swiss designers Ernst Mummenthaler and Otto Meier in the late 1950s and early 1960s, and produced by the company Atelier Genestar. When closed, this trunk-shaped desk takes up little space. By opening the two doors, the secretary transforms into a truly ultra-organised workspace: numerous storage compartments and a sliding central tray that serves as a work surface. The exterior has been completely sanded and stained in our workshop. A new light has been installed.
