Sarreguemines Rockingham black earthenware teapot 1900

This pretty trio is made of sarreguemines earthenware. Composed of a large bandaged teapot, a milk pot and a sugar bowl, they are made of black enamelled earthenware. Taking up the english style, this set is decorated with a décor of arabesques, foliage and flowers in gold, blue, yellow and orange tones. In sarreguemines earthenware, they are not marked, but the model is recognizable: rockingham. The teapot measures 26.5 X 15 cm; I point out that the spout has received a shock and the lid has a shine. The creamer measures 10 X 15 cm; he is unharmed. The sugar bowl has lost its lid and has small splinters; it measures 12 X 9 cm.
