Sofa bed Ducal by Albert Ducrot 60s to restore

Sofa bed looking for artisan upholsterer for happy restoration! This sofa is ducal brand (label present), manufacture specialized in convertible furniture until 1993, founded in 1923 by albert ducrot who is the inventor of the sofa bed. It is a sofa that seems to be a two-seater but it is easy to hold three. This sofa bed is typical of the 60s with its ribbed fabric in three colors (ecru, caramel, brown). It is finished with a fringe stripe in the lower part. The seat is deep, fluffy, very pleasant. It is convertible into a bed and the resulting bed is of very good quality, with good support. The mattress (bultex) 8 cm thick is lined underneath by a thick fiber fabric and supported by a grid of flat metal rods hung on the frame by springs (it lacks a spring, I think I can replace it, those present are in very good condition). The mechanism to unfold the bed is also of quality. Side restoration to consider: the filling, probably original, at least for some parts, is damaged: the parts forming the two "ears" more than the others, but all the foams crumble a little. Some would probably deserve to be replaced. The 6 parts are removable. The fabric covers of the 4 main cushions are not in poor condition, the zip is functional, the seams are intact but they are a little shabby. The covers of the two "ears" each have a disjointed seam, their zip is functional. The fabric that covers the structure is torn on the vertical edge at the back right side, and the wood underneath is damaged in this place, it crumbles. The fringed stripe is not in poor condition but some fringes are frayed. It measures 1. 33m in length, 90 cm deep, 73 cm in height at the level of the structure (about ten cm more with the cushions). It weighs... heavy, it takes at least two strong people to lift it.
