Table by Luigi Saccardo for Maison Jansen brushed steel black glass 1970

Large ufo dining table in brushed steel and glass by luigi saccardo for arrmet in italy, distributed in france by maison jansen in the 70s. The base with internal tubular metal structure is topped with 4 folded steel blades supporting the translucent glass top with a large black disc in the center. A very beautiful piece, modernist and industrial lines, very seventies and of superb manufacturing quality. This model is the largest in the ufo series, with a top diameter of 160 centimeters. The foot has been completely repolished, and the original glass top is in almost unused condition, without scratches or chips. A very rare piece in this condition.
