Hollywood Regency Mid-century Design Peter Ghyczy Glass & Brass.

A highly distinctive glass and brass coffee table designed by Peter Ghyczy in the Netherlands during the 1970s. The table showcases Ghyczy’s characteristic construction, in which the four sculptural legs slide over the corners of the thick glass top, creating both a striking visual detail and a highly distinctive structural solution. The combination of the deep black architectural legs, substantial brass corner caps and crystal-clear glass gives the piece a sophisticated Hollywood Regency character, while its restrained geometry places it firmly within the tradition of Dutch Mid-Century Modern design. Particularly noteworthy is the very well preserved condition of the glass top. The glass is otherwise in very good vintage condition, with only minor signs of age and use.
