This old large pediment mirror in art deco carved wood has been completely re-gilded with leaf. This new gilding has been patinated to enhance the past life of the mirror. The glass is very nicely worked / cut in the upper part - typical art deco. In addition, it has a wide, very elegant bevel around its entire perimeter. The color of the glass is very nicely pitted and reflects the century of life of the piece. The piece is in good condition. Note the wooden frame and the glass are not integral. The carved wooden upright has grooves to accommodate the mirror, which once installed in the notches no longer moves. Once in place and installed this point of detail is not visible, but I prefer to specify it to avoid any surprises, especially during transport / unpacking.
