Small jump cabinet in Louis XV style with marquetry and marble.

Charming small Louis XV style commode, made of precious wood veneer with geometric marquetry decoration, featuring two drawers at the front. It rests on slender curved legs and is topped with an elegant veined pink marble top with a shaped front. The handles, corner drops, feet, and central ornament are in patinated gilded bronze. Its elegant proportions make it an ideal piece for an entrance console, a side table in a living room, bedroom, or hallway. Its classic style is subtly modernised by its clean design and complements both contemporary interiors and more traditional decor. The piece is in generally good condition, with a beautiful patina from use. The marble shows some slight signs of age, without any aesthetic impact.
