Bookcase 19th

Louis Philippe mahogany bookcase and flamed mahogany veneer on oak, with a glass door divided by an addition of baguettes certainly after its creation. Typical Louis Philippe period format and mouldings. Moulded door frame, plated. Large visible storage area, 3 shelves changeable in height (cog), a drawer with lock entrance (same key as the door), and "secret" drawer in the baseboard that cleverly closes by the lock of the top drawer (see photo). Both locks (door and drawer) work. Waxed finish, beautiful gloss. Very correct condition, although it is worth noting some jump of veneers and traces of use and time. Dimensions: 206cm high, 100cm wide and 46cm deep (at the ledge), without the ledge and plinth, the furniture measures 90.5cm wide and 41cm deep.
