Massive vintage pendant light – brass, black metal and striped glass – 1950s

This splendid antique cage-design pendant light combines gilded brass, black-painted metal, and an elegant conical reflector made of yellow and white striped glass. Attributed to the famous Belgian manufacturer Massive, it perfectly illustrates the modernist aesthetic of the 50s and 60s, with a graphic touch that makes it timeless. Its condition is very good: some slight traces of time consistent with its age and use, but no dents or missing parts. Total height: 65 cm - weight: 1, 500 kg.
