2m walnut drapery farmhouse table

Antique draper's table - drapière - in solid white walnut from the first half of the 20th century. We love its generous size, all its ultra-elegant details - beautifully finely turned legs, its fluting on its feet, its thick top, its three drawers topped with cast iron flowered shell handles... It has a very beautiful, unique color, quite light and very bright. The wood is a very dense and robust wood, so the table is very heavy. This table has been entirely restored, treated, sanded, lightly stained to bring out the grain, then protected with a transparent matte varnish. It has and retains all the traces of its past, making it completely authentic - cutting marks or work marks, being a draper and used daily by artisans. Absolutely unique piece and of great refinement. Please refer to the photos for defects and general patina. Slight bending in its center. - Dimensions - W 198.5 x D 76.5 x H 75 cm. Height under the fascia - 56 cm. The height under the fascia is a little low, a bench would be perfect as a seat, otherwise it is possible on request to raise it by 4 cm to have the standard of 60 cm.
