Colourful handmade rug, 245 x 160 cm - AZ837

A striking handmade Moroccan rug built around a limited two-colour palette and an expressive, highly graphic composition. The natural ivory wool forms the background, while handwoven green lines create an abstract arrangement of elongated shapes, geometric structures, and scattered marks. The close-up particularly highlights the irregularity and density of the individual knots. In the large central diamond-shaped motif, the ivory wool emerges through the green velvet, producing a textured, almost dotted effect that gives the design considerable depth. Each rug is handwoven by Amazigh (Berber) artisans, made from 100% natural sheep wool, woven on a traditional Berber loom, individually knotted and finished by hand, created using traditional Moroccan weaving techniques and completely unique in its kind. No mass production — only authentic Berber craftsmanship. Colour palette: warm natural ivory/cream and deep forest green. The design has a contemporary quality, almost like abstract art. Dimensions: 245 × 160 cm. Newly handmade in our own cooperative in Morocco, individually finished and carefully inspected before joining the Kenza & Co collection.
