French antique louis XVI bronze 3 arm ribbon & bow chandelier glass shades. Crafted from finely cast bronze, the chandelier features a graceful ribbons-and-bows motif at the ceiling fitter. The central column showcases an elegant draped effect, adorned with intricately detailed knot accents, enhancing the chandelier's regal presence. Extending outward, the three gracefully curved arms take the form of delicate branches, each beautifully embellished with acanthus leaf detailing, at the end of each arm, leaf-shaped shade holders cradle white opaque glass shades in a charming flower shape, with soft, curved edges that diffuse the light with a warm, ambient glow.the chandelier appears to have been rewired at some point and is currently in working order, fitted with twin core wiring and designed to accommodate 3 X b22 bayonet bulbs.the bronze frame is in good, solid condition, reflecting its quality craftsmanship. It retains a beautiful age-related patina, which enhances its antique charm and historical character.the glass shades are in good condition, with no cracks. One shade has a small chip on the edge of one of the petals, though this is not noticeable when the candlestick is hung.
