Antique oak sideboard / bathroom vanity / console – France, around 1900

French antique carpenter's workbench dating from around 1900, made of solid oak. This compact bench features a long, narrow wooden top with visible grain, old holes, scratches, and signs of use. The sturdy oak base includes a traditional vise with a metal screw and a lower shelf made of wooden planks for additional storage. The oak has a naturally aged brown color with tonal variations and a patinated surface. Measuring 168 cm long and only 31 cm deep, this workbench is particularly suitable as a bathroom vanity, narrow console, hallway table, or display table. The workbench is in good antique condition, with notable signs of age and use, including scratches, marks, holes, and wear on the wooden surfaces. Antique wooden furniture may show traces of old woodworms. All our wooden furniture is treated preventively against woodworms.
