GRAND VASE "FAT LAVA" 42 cm - Vintage Ceramic 60s 70s - Lava Glaze. Exceptional and large vintage vase, very trendy and sought after by mid-20th century design enthusiasts. This vase is a stunning piece of "Fat Lava" style ceramic (often produced in West Germany, hence the name "West German Pottery") dating from the 1960s or 1970s. Height: 42 cm. Fat Lava / West German Ceramic. A deep, shiny chocolate brown base, topped with beautiful turquoise/teal drip glaze. The pattern is very graphic and features a spectacular central area resembling molten lava or volcanic rock (very textured and raw). Tall, modern, and imposing shape. Excellent overall condition.
