Large fronton of Louis XV rocaille architectural style in stucco and carved wood, white patina, 19th century. Symmetrical decoration of scrolls, acanthus leaves, shells, and stucco clasps moulded on a wooden core, around a circular oculus, crowned with a floral ornament and finished with two large leafy scrolls. Originally a piece of woodwork, bed canopy, or shop front, mounted on a visible fir frame at the back. Old patina with pitting and greying, some losses and old cracks, structure sound. Decorative piece to be placed on the floor or hung, alone or as a headboard, in a château interior or a shop. Dimensions: Width: 155 cm. Height: 109 cm. Depth: 10 cm.
