Old painting, portrait of a gypsy woman, signed Yves Diey, 20th century

Very beautiful painting, oil on panel, in a wooden and stucco frame, painted in a golden color. It represents a beautiful spanish woman (probably a gypsy), sitting on a table, wearing a pretty blue tunic revealing her shoulder, a red bandana on her head and a long skirt in red and white tones. It is signed lower right yves diey (1892 -1984). French painter who attended the school of fine arts in paris. A recognized portraitist also specializing in nude paintings, still lifes and landscapes. They travel a lot, especially to morocco, algeria and spain. Very well painted and very elegant, this painting will charmingly decorate your interior. Condition. The painting is in perfect condition, as for the frame, it has some paint chips, to be redone in particular on the outer sides of the frame and some missing parts inside the frame (see photos).
