Mid-Century Stools attributed to Paolo Buffa, Italy, 1950s, Set of 2

Pair of important Mid-Century stools in solid wood and bouclé fabric, attributable by style to the famous Italian architect and designer Paolo Buffa. The stools feature elegant and original lines, with a wave motif on the side typical of Buffa's design language. Recently reupholstered and re-polished, they are ready for use. Although originating from the same house, an important Italian villa near Trieste, one of the stools has a darker structure than the other. Small signs of aging are present, but the overall condition is excellent.
