Vintage Art Deco cup and saucer – Sarreguemines: a striking duo! This cup and saucer in fine Sarreguemines earthenware display a resolutely graphic design, with their wide red bands outlined in black on a bright white background. The contrast is strong, the visual effect immediate: a beautiful example of the late Art Deco style. The angular handle of the cup, typical of the 1930s and 1940s, accentuates its modern look. The two pieces bear different but authentic stamps, testifying to their manufacture in the Sarreguemines workshops (circa 1930–1950). A duo to collect or to divert for a stylish coffee. Stamped.
