Elegant vintage lamp base by Jean Roche, in the purest Hollywood Regency style. Gilded brass structure and shaft covered with a textured emerald green coating, with geometric and chic lines. High-end detail: double socket with pull cords, very decorative even without a lampshade. This model still bears its original price of 3, 750 francs including tax, or about 2 months of minimum wage in 1980 – the equivalent of €850 today.
