Small 2-door buffet, 19th century, painted fir

Small sideboard in painted fir (blue-grey), 2 doors, opening onto a storage space containing two shelves and a vertical divider. It bears marks of use and time, marks in the wood under the paint, missing at the level of the lower molding of the left door…, old traces of wood-eating insects, numerous stains on the shelves despite a complete cleaning, these marks are nevertheless proof of authenticity and attest to the past of this piece of furniture! The left door locks in the closed position using a cleat at the top. We have fitted the right door with an old handle but which is not original, deliberately left unpainted. Simple, with clean lines, effective, by its low depth (34cm) it will find its place in an entrance, a corridor for example. It measures 101cm high and 103cm wide, and weighs approximately 30kg.
