This large wardrobe was designed by ærthøj jensen and tage mølholm for the Danish factory Herning in the 1960s. It is made of noble rosewood. The dark colour of the wood contrasts perfectly with the lighter door elements. The piece features four shelves, a closed unit with smaller shelves, and a vertically closed bar. Inside, there are four flat drawers covered with green felt and two small shelves. The wardrobe has low metal legs. The piece is as elegant as it is functional. It perfectly reflects the Scandinavian style of the mid-century modern era and will successfully fit into many arrangements. The original signature is on the back. Ærthøj jensen and tage mølholm are a duo of Danish designers focused on creating aesthetic and functional furniture. Elegant simplicity and attention to detail are their hallmarks. They have appeared in design exhibitions across Europe, including Milan Design Week and the Stockholm Furniture Fair. Their creations have also won several prestigious awards, including the Red Dot Design Award, the German Design Award, and the Good Design Award. They have a studio in Aarhus, where they create innovative designs in harmony with aesthetics and functionality. This wardrobe is in its original vintage condition. Due to its age, it shows slight signs of use. The colours of the products shown in the photos may differ slightly from the actual ones. This is due to individual monitor settings and lighting conditions – the photos were taken in artificial light, which may affect the perception of colours. However, we strive to ensure that the photos reflect the actual appearance of the product as faithfully as possible. The offer may include photos of the item in the living space, but these are for illustrative purposes only.
