Metal frame with adjustable teak shelves and lower magazine rack. Freestanding shelving unit, 1960s. Freestanding shelving unit from the 1960s, attributable to the Hylla type, a modular system widely produced in Northern Europe and popularized by the String brand, designed by Nisse and Kajsa Strinning in the late 1940s. The painted metal frame supports height-adjustable teak shelves. The modular design allows flexible arrangement, while the contrast between metal and wood reflects a characteristic balance of Northern European production of the period. A wire magazine rack is integrated at the base, adding a functional element without weighing down the overall structure. Good condition. May show signs of age. Please pay attention to the photographs. AE1208.
