1960s/1970s corner sofa, with a simple and refined design, functional and suitable for convivial living spaces. This sofa is sturdy thanks to its solid wood frame, offering excellent seating comfort thanks to the period latex foam cushions in perfect condition. Although there is some cosmetic wear (particularly to the bouclé fabric and the back upholstery), the whole remains functional and sturdy, ideal for a renovation project or immediate use. Dimensions: Length of one side: 200 cm. Depth: 80 cm. Height: approximately 70-75 cm. The sofa is made up of three separate parts for transport. Framework: Materials: Solid wood for the armrests and main frame. Discreet chrome-plated metal legs... Seat supports: Metal mesh covered with a protective textile layer, in excellent condition. Cushions and seats: Vintage latex foam, preserved in excellent condition, with no sagging or drooping. Upholstery: Terroir fabric, beige/light olive green. Wear noted: Terry fabric worn on some hard corners (friction areas). Specific flaws: Light scratches on the varnished wooden armrests. Rear upholstery needs to be redone (damaged or missing fabric). One plywood back panel is pierced (does not affect its use or overall strength). ---- Although this sofa is not signed, its functional simplicity, shapes, proportions, and materials place it in a design tradition close to the works of Hans Wegner, Finn Juhl, and Pierre Guairiche.
