Round plate, iron earth, Wolves' Mills

Old ironstone plate made in the factory/earthenware works Le Moulin des Loups & Hamage in the North of France. Model Marceau with a dark green floral frieze decoration. The years have left a lovely patina on the plate. Some signs of use due to its great age, a small chip on the edge. Some minor flaws, certainly, but they add to the charm of this old crockery!
