Exceptional and monumental architectural fireplace front from the 1960s. This high-quality piece combines the elegance of hand-hammered brass with the refinement of glazed ceramic tiles. The decor, inspired by the Neo-Classical style, features beautiful floral baskets and bird motifs in blue and white tones (Delft style). Originating from a prestigious residence on the Côte d'Azur, this façade is a rare piece due to its dimensions (91x90 cm) and level of detail. Condition: The structure is sound and very robust. The object has retained its superb original patina. For transparency, it should be noted that two ceramic tiles have a slight crack in the upper right corner, and the brass edging shows an original adjustment typical of the artisanal work of the period (see detail photos). These elements do not detract from the monumental aesthetic of the whole. An ideal centrepiece to add a historical and luxurious touch to a living room, a chateau, or a high-end interior design project. Dimensions: H91 cm X W90 cm X D10 cm (approximately).
