Vintage oval silver-plated tray J.B. Chatterley & Sons – Birmingham

Beautiful vintage oval serving tray in silver-plated metal of high quality, signed J.B. Chatterley & Sons of Birmingham, England. This tray, with its elegantly scalloped edge, is a fine example of English silverware from the mid-20th century. Made from EPNS (Electro Plated Nickel Silver), it is heavy and robust (600 g), with a shiny finish characteristic of fine pieces from this era. Visible hallmark: J.B. CHATTERLEY & SONS / E.P.N.S. (detail in photo 5). Dimensions: Height 1.1 cm – Diameter approx. 27.5 cm (oval shape). Weight: 600 g. In good vintage condition with normal signs of use for its age (some superficial scratches and visible areas of patina in the photos). The layer of silver is generally well preserved and still gives it a lovely shine. No dents or deformation. Perfectly usable for everyday use.
