Vintage teak wall unit, circa 1960's

Vintage scandinavian style wall unit/storage unit with shelves and drawers/bookcase with drawers, circa 60's. The piece is made of wood with a teak veneer finish and rests on spindle legs (the front legs have a very original carved shape while the rear legs are straight (see photos). The upper part of the piece of furniture, can be used as a bookcase or as a display stand for objects. The back of the compartment has a black wooden surround. The 2 shelves are removable. They each measure 78 cm wide and 30 cm deep. The space between the top and the upper shelf is 23 cm, between the upper shelf and the lower shelf 22 cm and between the lower shelf and the top of the drawers 23 cm. The lower part includes a chest of drawers with 3 drawers, all functional and clean with their magnificent carved handles typical of the period. (see photos). The upper drawer has a removable divider with 17 small compartments. Each compartment measures 13 cm wide and 10.5 cm deep. The central compartment measures 25 cm wide and 10.5 cm deep (see photos). Each drawer measures l: 75.5 cm X w: 34 cm X h: 13 cm. The top measures l: 78 cm X w: 38 cm. The piece is in good original and vintage condition with some light marks and signs of previous use on the overall structure, top, panels, drawers, black surround and feet (see photos) as well as age patina and slightly faded colour in some areas (see photos). A small mark on the bottom left corner of the top drawer (see photo) and another small mark on the back of the right side panel. The piece has been cleaned, oiled and waxed respecting its original patina. The piece is solid and stable. All photos were taken outside in natural light.
