Set of 2 vintage olive ceramic table lamps – in the style of Hustadt or Dümler & Breiden. A stylish duo of mid-century lamps with high decorative value. West German ceramic studio / West German pottery. Completely technically revised. These two striking table lamps most likely come from the West German ceramic production of the 1960s/70s – stylistically attributed to the Fat Lava era. The bases are made of changing olive green glazed ceramic with lighter accents and typical wavy shapes – also called pagoda shape. The workmanship is reminiscent of the designs of Hustadt Lampen or Dümler & Breiden from this period – both known for their expressive mid-century lamp objects. The two bases could also be of English origin. The supplier Royal Doulton is known for similar shapes with its Sheerlite lamp. Large lamp: Total height with shade: 94 cm, height base + socket: 55 cm, base diameter: 18 cm. Electrics: new, olive green textile cable, European plug, rocker switch and copper E27 socket. Assembled and checked by an electrician. Condition: excellent. Small lamp: Total height with shade: 77 cm. Height of base + socket: 36 cm, base diameter: 14 cm. Lampshades: The cylindrical lampshades are covered with high-quality cotton canvas. The Japanese-inspired floral pattern in muted tones creates a warm atmosphere when the lamp is lit.
