A rare vintage Danish teak dresser with four drawers and solid teak sculptural handles was designed by Kai Kristiansen and made by FM Møbler in the 1960s. Overall size is H: 62 / W: 86 / D: 45 cm. Most likely designed as a dresser but could also be used as an entry chest with a mirror above it. Straight, classic lines add versatility to the piece, making it perfect for a hallway or functional living room decoration, for instance, under the TV. The rich grain of teak veneer, diligently selected on the front, and solid teak details show the mastery of Danish midcentury craftsmanship. Tapered solid teak legs emphasize the Scandinavian origin and are detachable, providing more convenient transport. The dresser has been restored. The wood has been cleaned and treated with Danish oil to protect and enhance its natural beauty. Overall, excellent vintage condition. Drawers height: 8 cm. Ground clearance: 39 cm.
