Taquin game, a popular art object dating from the late 19th century or the very early 20th century. Handmade and artisanal. The back is covered with its original brown period paper with a leather-like embossed pattern, topped with its original handwritten label "Le Taquin". The frame shows slight manufacturing irregularities typical of the artisanal work of the time (small visible assembly points). Game includes the wooden frame and its 15 original light wood tokens. Delivered with its period explanatory note written by hand detailing the "Rules of Taquin". 1.8 X 10.5 X 10.5 cm.
