Space Age coat rack by Jean Pierre Vitrac for Manade, France, 1970

Colorful coat rack by french designer jean-pierre vitrac for the french publishing house manade in the 1970s. It is made up of a tubular structure in black lacquered metal attached to a heavy square base. Two sets of 3 very sturdy brick red abs plastic rotating hooks are attached to the uprights. Each hook is signed manade. There is also a manufacturer's label under the base. This coat rack is in very good vintage condition, note normal slight wear due to age and use. Dimensions width 42 cm height 190 cm depth 39 cm.
