Dark red & opaline white 26 cm Danish gulvvase, designed 1968 by Otto Brauer for Holmegaard

This gulvvase (danish for floor vase) has been moulded with 2 layers of glass, opaline white on the inside and dark red on the outside. In english this technique is called “cased” or “casing” (in german “überfang”). This vase is in excellent condition, no damages, no cracks, no chips, no fleabites, only hardly visible traces of wear and age on the bottom surface. Traditionally these gulvvases were not signed at the production but only got a paper label which has gone off over the years. Height 26 cm. Diameter (bottom) 9.5 cm. Weight 530 grs.
