Large antique gilded carved wooden mirror – early 20th century

Large antique mirror in carved wood, with a patinated gilding, probably dating from the early 20th century, inspired by Louis XVI. The frame is richly crafted, featuring a sculpted decoration that includes a central bow, garlands of foliage, friezes, and beaded mouldings. The old gilding has a natural patina that highlights the reliefs and the sculptural work. The bevelled glass adds depth and elegance to the whole piece. The mirror can be placed on the floor or fixed to the wall, depending on the desired arrangement.
