Set of green glazed earthenware – 1960s consisting of a large jug and five matching cups, in a superb emerald green hue characteristic of Savoyard productions from the 1950s to 1970s. The pieces feature a stylised naive decoration engraved and enamelled in brown, black, and grey tones, evoking birds and abstract plant motifs. The jug has a soft, slightly twisted silhouette, with a very graphic pinched spout reminiscent of bird beaks. The cups follow the same simple and generous line, with a beautiful decorative presence despite their compact size. No brand or origin indicated, but likely from a workshop in the Annecy / Saint-Jorioz region. In beautiful vintage condition, very shiny, with some small firing irregularities and slight signs of use consistent with this type of old artisanal production (see photos). Jug height 18.5 cm, width at spout 18 cm, base diameter 9.5 cm, opening diameter 11.5 cm. Estimated capacity 1.3 L. Cups height 9 cm, base diameter 5 cm, opening diameter 8.5 cm. Estimated capacity 30 cl. A set with a unique presence, immediately decorative.
