Set of 2 vintage high-back swivel armchairs with abstract upholstery

This distinctive pair of vintage high-back swivel armchairs was produced in Czechoslovakia in the 1960s by UP Závody Rousínov. Their tall, enveloping backrests, softly shaped headrest wings and comfortable proportions reflect the relaxed lounge character of mid-century Czechoslovak furniture design. These high-back swivel armchairs are upholstered in a textured fabric with an expressive abstract geometric pattern, giving them a bold retro look typical of the period.
