Wrought iron and art deco glass chandelier - Degué Workshops

Superb wrought iron chandelier with stylised leaves and chestnut fruits in Art Deco style. An ideal piece for an entrance, bathroom, or staircase. The glasswork features a hemispherical globe made of pressed moulded glass with geometric patterns, signed Degué. The three tulips in pressed moulded glass are decorated with stylised leaves and fruits. Overall excellent condition, with a small chip on one of the tulips (negligible). The Degué glass and art crystal factory was founded in the late 1920s and is renowned for its high-end Art Deco glass productions. H85xD60cm. 10kg.
