Exceptional pair of wall lights with 2 bulbs from the 1970s. This is a handcrafted French work. This piece of craftsmanship is finely made in gilded bronze with chiselling and soldering to form a sculptural composition in a brutalist style. Each wall light contains 2 square light sources receiving a honey-coloured fractal resin reflector with gold leaf inclusion, held by a brass setting. Made for an architect on a special order, they are simply unique. Condition report: They are in excellent condition considering their age. The brass is oxidised over time and reveals a very lovely patina. The resin reflectors are in perfect condition. No missing parts are to be reported. They were removed from a wall after 55 years in a house. A rare set with an extraordinary aesthetic for lovers of unique pieces or for an interior architect's project.
