Teak plateau Söwe Konst – Sweden, 1960s

Teak plateau produced by the Swedish manufacturer Söwe Konst (Sövstad), dating from the 1960s. This model features a simple and functional line typical of Scandinavian design, with: • a slightly curved shape - known as “sledge” - which gives it a fluid and elegant line. • integrated sculpted edges serving as handles. • warm and contrasting teak grain. Söwe productions are often associated with the designer Sigvard Nilsson, although the pieces are not individually signed. ✔ Original marking under the base: Söwe Sövstad Sweden. ✔ Material: solid teak. ✔ Origin: Sweden. ✔ Period: 1960s.
