Scandinavian elm and burl wood secretary, 1950s/1960s

Secretary in elm and burl wood with drop front, three large drawers and internal compartments. Scandinavian production, 1950s/1960s. Scandinavian secretary from the 1950s/60s characterised by the decorative use of different woods. The elm, with its warm tone and regular grain, defines the structure and the fronts of the three large drawers, while the curved drop front is enhanced by a large panel of elm burl arranged symmetrically. Inside, the lighter birch, also figured, creates a contrast with the darker wood elements and features small drawers, compartments, and document shelves. When opened, the drop front forms a large writing surface. In good condition. It may show signs of wear. Please pay attention to the photographs.
